I’m Having A Break and New Updates!

Hey Guys! CP made new things happen this week and today. It seems that the Wizard Hat from Halloween Party 2006 has come back for the Medieval Party! Also, there is a new pin! It is located in the Boiler Room and it is an Anvil! To get it, you’ll need to move your mouse above the “Anvil Maker” and it will make the Anvil Pin. There are also new catalogs! It’s The Pet Catalog, The Igloo Catalog, and the Furniture Catalog.

Anyway… If you read the title of this post, it said “I’m Having A Break.” That meant that I’m going away for my Memorial Day Holiday. I finally get to have a break from LEARNING in school. I live in New Jersey, some of you know, and I will be going to Virginia for the whole holiday. So i’ll see you when I come back! (Tuesday.)

OMG!!! 1,000 Hits!

Hey Guys! Well, I FINALLY made 1,000 hits! It took a really long time! I had this blog since February 28th I think… and now May 19th is when I got 1,000 hits. I got a long way to go still and I need to keep on going. Thanks to all of you who visited and all my friends of Club Penguin!

My 3 Latest Friends!

Hey Guys! I’m so bored and got nothing to do… so I decided too make something new. I decided to post pictures of my 3 latest friends! Everytime I get 5 new friends…I post 3 of them up here and post the last to next time! Sorry I never thought of this before (my older friends.) Once I post these… I swear they are my friends. I will tell you when I met them and how I got to be his or her buddy. So here they are:

Jcmann: This is Jcmann! Or JC. I became her friend at her party on the 16th of May! It was at her unbanned party! I first met her on Youtube and we decided to be friends… then, I checked her blog that she was having a party and I met her there. I finally got to be her friend!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kmbrules: This is Kmbrules! She is my 2nd new friend! Her *Best Friend* is Jcmann. I met her at Jcmann’s Youtube and I learned a little more about her at Jcmann’s blog first. Now I met her in CP. It was also at Jcmann’s unbanned party! It was so cool.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Theflame12: This is Theflame12 or as penguins like to call him: Flame. He’s so cool! I met him in CP alot of times. At his parties, random times, and even other people’s parties. I really know him good. I always visit his chatbox.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Helen 2k5 and Mc Mohd’s Hits Party!

Hey Guys! This is Jea1023! I’ve been to Helen 2k5 and Mc Mohd’s hits party May 10! It was so awesome and I even got pics of parts of the party! Here they are and I’ll tell a description about each of them.

Picture # 1: This is the first pic I took! This pic is showing Helen 2k5 introduced himself…he was hiding at first behind the entrance of the Dock and he gave the rest a surprise entrance. I knew he was hiding there.

 

 

Picture # 2: This pic is awesome! It’s when Mc Mohd introduced himself in the Night Club! It took a long time for him to come but he was planning what to do for the rest of the party! Chewy (Helen 2k5) and Mohd were being crowded by SOOOOOO many people! I was like WOAH!!!

Picture # 3: This pic is so cool! This is when we were ALL invited to Helen’s Igloo! It was so crowded it took a long time to go through! Everyone was so excited about this part of the party!

 

Picture # 4: This is when we all had a party in different places of Club Penguin. It was cool but short time to party because it had to end! Our last place to party was the Stage.

Treasure Hunting Game

Hi everyone, it’s Screenhog!
 
Last week we launched the Treasure Hunt game in the Captain’s Quarters of Rockhopper’s ship and from what we heard, a lot of you enjoyed it! Rockhopper is gone from Club Penguin now, and that means the game is gone too. But don’t worry, you’ll be able to play Treasure Hunt again when Rockhopper returns.
 
Treasure Hunt, as you all probably know, is Club Penguin’s first ever cooperative game, where you and a friend can earn coins together. Here’s some behind-the-scenes art from the game:
 
 
 
Those are most of the dirt tiles made for the game. Treasure Hunt is a tile-based game, which means that a lot of the art for it was broken up into square pieces that could be used as many times as the game needs them. Each tile was made separately by an artist and then another designer took the tiles and programmed each one to change on the board after each move. Cool stuff.
 
 
 
This is the rough art of the wood fence that surrounds the Treasure Hunt game. After this sketch, an artist put clean black lines on top of it, colored in the wood planks and then it was ready to hold all the dirt tiles!
 
Oh, and before I forget, thanks for all the wonderful comments about the clothing catalog! We’re glad you’re having fun with it! There are a lot of secrets in this catalog–have you found them all? There’s one that’s not an item, but it’s still pretty cool!

Hello Penguins!

It’s hard to believe the month of April has already passed–there sure was a lot going on in Club Penguin. If you weren’t around, don’t worry, there’s plenty to look forward to coming up in May!!!

To kick it off, a new wig catalog was added today, along with another clothing catalog update. As always, let us know what you like and even what you don’t!

 

In other news: Thanks for all your feedback about ‘Big Screen’ mode since it launched earlier this week! We heard from a lot of you  that you would like the option to view the game in the original mode. If you want to view it in the original mode you can now, just click the arrow icon on the top right navigation bar before you login to the game. Big Screen mode will remain the default mode.

Hello Penguins!

The Book Room story contest starts tomorrow! We know that a lot of you have great imaginations and love to write and many of you have suggested that we run another writing contest!  I can’t wait to see who wins!

Here are the contest details:

 

• Starting Thursday, May 1 go to the Club Penguin Times and find the contest page
• Pick a theme
• Write your story (up to 500 words)
• Submit it (you can copy and paste into the contest form in the newspaper)
• Submissions will be accepted until May 7
• 3 winners will be chosen and their stories added to the Book Room on May 30!

 

 

 

 

 

In other news: You may have noticed you can now play Club Penguin in ‘Big Screen’ mode! It was launched yesterday–something many of you have suggested for a long time! When you login to Club Penguin the view mode of Club Penguin will be bigger than it was before we launched this feature.

To make the ‘Big Screen’ mode bigger or smaller, simply change the size of your browser window by shrinking or expanding it. As always, let us know what you think!
